Practice Based Evidence & ARW show what
joint working is all about

The Care Programme Approach (CPA) and care co-ordination are central to how mental health services work in the UK. In addition to the CPA Booklet and Leaflet available above, ARW Training & Consultancy, in association with Practice Based Evidence, produced a 36 minute accompanying DVD to help service users and carers to understand and discuss what they can and should expect from mental health services. This DVD has been separated into separate chapters in line with the sections of the booklet, and can be viewed by clicking the following.

1. Making the CPA work for you

2. What is the Care Programme Approach?

3. What does care co-ordination mean?

4. What assessments might happen as part of the CPA?

5. What is a care plan?

6. What is a review?

7. What can carers expect from the CPA?
